General terms and conditions

B&B Finca la Yuca

By entering into a reservation made, these general terms and conditions take effect.

Definitions:

Owners: Richard and Diana van den Enk.

Guest: principal guest and fellow guests staying at B&B Finca la Yuca.

General

The main guest must be 18 years or older, is responsible for his or her fellow guests, must have a permanent place of residence and be able to show a valid ID.

The prices of the rooms can be found on this website. Prices include VAT, Wifi, towels, made beds, water, electricity, cleaning and final cleaning.

Our rooms are suitable for a maximum occupancy of 3/4 persons.

We wish our guests a carefree stay. However, we bear no responsibility for loss, theft, accidents, personal injuries, medical expenses or damage to property caused by personal inattention or by circumstances beyond our control.

We expect our guests to report any damages, missing items to us. Any charges will be charged.

B&B Finca la Yuca is not liable for breakdowns in and around the accommodation such as power cuts, wifi, water supplies and technical installations.

We expect our guests to follow instructions from the owner(s).

The owner(s) may deny guests access to B&B Finca la Yuca with immediate effect in case of violation of these General Terms and Conditions and in case of inappropriate behaviour.

The administration of the owner(s) is decisive in case of mutual disagreement unless the guest can prove otherwise. We expect guests of B&B Finca la Yuca to abide by the house rules the terms and conditions.

Reservations and payment

Reservations can be made by phone, e-mail, via our website or via booking.com. After receiving a reservation request, we will send you a confirmation (provided the room is available). The reservation is final upon receipt of the deposit. The deposit is 25% of the total amount. You can transfer it to bank account number ES73 2100 1473 7002 0053 6710 in the name of B&B Finca la Yuca / van den Enk. The deposit must be paid within 7 calendar days after receipt of the confirmation. If the deposit is not received on time, the reservation request may be cancelled. The guest will be informed by e-mail or telephone. For reservations with arrival within one week, the deposit must be paid immediately. The remaining balance must be paid on arrival in cash, by pin or credit card. Cancellation The following conditions apply to the cancellation of reservations:

- If cancelled 2 weeks or earlier before the arrival date; no cancellation fee.

- If cancelled 14 days to 6 days before arrival date; 50% cancellation charge.

- If cancelled 5 days or less before arrival date or in case of no-show;

- 100% cancellation fee.

Only at the discretion of the owner(s) (e.g. in case of emergencies or Covid-19) can the cancellation conditions be deviated from.

To be eligible for any refund, the cancellation must be communicated directly to the owner(s) by e-mail or telephone.

After consultation, the agreed amount will be transferred within two weeks.

No refunds will be made in case of early departure.

B&B Finca la Yuca can only cancel the reservation agreement in case of force majeure, natural disaster, extraordinary weather conditions, fire, death of the owners or family, hospitalisation or unannounced sale.

In any of these cases, the owner(s) will offer the guest an alternative as soon as possible.

If no alternative is possible or the guest does not accept the alternative offered, a full refund will be made. Any other costs resulting from the cancellation will not be reimbursed by the owner(s).

We recommend travel and/or cancellation insurance.

Arrival and departure

On the day of arrival, the room is available from 15:00 and can be checked in until 21:30.

It is appreciated if we receive the expected arrival time in advance.

Different arrival times than mentioned above are possible by prior arrangement.

Check-out is no later than 11:00.

Complaints

Of course we do our utmost to offer our guests a carefree and unforgettable stay. Should there be a complaint despite our good care, we would like to hear about it personally so that we can resolve it immediately.
